Privacy Policy

How Tivio handles personal information and how to exercise your rights.

Effective date: 25 September 2026

1. Who is responsible for your information?

This policy applies to Tivio and purchases or enquiries made through tivio.uk.

Tivio is responsible for the handling of personal information collected through tivio.uk, purchases and customer support. Contact support@tivio.uk about this notice or your privacy rights.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we process contact details, order and payment status, subscription details and messages you send us. Setup support may require your device model, player name or device identifier. Website and service operation may generate IP addresses, browser information, timestamps and security or connection logs.

3. Why we use information

  • Orders, delivery and support: to fulfil our contract with you or take steps you request before a purchase.
  • Accounting and legal records: to comply with applicable legal obligations.
  • Security and fraud prevention: for our legitimate interests in protecting customers and the service, balanced against your rights.
  • Optional marketing: with consent where required. You can unsubscribe or withdraw consent at any time.

Information needed to process an order or provide support is necessary for those functions. If you do not provide it, we may be unable to complete the purchase or resolve the issue.

4. Who receives information?

Information may be shared with suppliers providing hosting, subscription delivery, payment processing, email and customer support, as necessary for their role. Information may also be disclosed where required by law. Using WhatsApp involves processing by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms.

5. Third-party services

When you contact us through WhatsApp or use an external payment service, that provider also handles information under its own privacy notice. Contact support@tivio.uk if you need information about the providers involved in your enquiry or order.

6. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to certain processing. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

You have the right to object to direct marketing at any time. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation.

Email support@tivio.uk. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; where a lawful extension applies, we will explain it.

You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/, or another competent supervisory authority. You do not have to contact us first.

7. Updates

We will update this notice when our practices change and communicate material changes where required. The effective date above will reflect the published version.
